Would recommend!

Definitely the stuffs. They are super nice and helpful. The room was clean and the view was absolutely amazing. My boy really enjoyed the pool and water park. There is a supermarket and bus stop just outside of the hotel.

The restaurant was always so busy. We had to quelque for getting a table every time.

Great location, lovely accommodation, cleaning staff amazing , breakfast yummy.

Location great Breakfast nice but did have to keep asking for milk and cups.

The staff at the pool bar were very slow and didn’t acknowledge me when waiting? So didn’t bother after second attempt.

What was the highlight of FERGUS Club Carema Splash

Great for a first holiday with young children!

The resort is small, clean and well-maintained. Everything you need is on site and well catered for. We spent 90% of our time just sat by and playing in the swimming pool which my 5 year old daughter absolutely loved. There was a neat bar next to the pool serving beers, cocktails + ice creams too - all at fair prices and with friendly staff. The splash pool with the slides was pretty basic but still good fun for a while - we didn't spent too much there as the lure of the main pool was where it was at. Food wise it was all okay, I'm quite fussy but my wife was happy. When it wasn't too busy it was a nice place to eat. The beach is on the doorstep of the hotel too and it was lovely and calm, we only went for one day though but if we were more beach types we'd have spent a lot longer there for sure! The whole resort is defo catered for young families I'd say - this was our first trip abroad with our kids (2 + 5) and it was ideal for our first holiday. If they were a bit older I'd say that come the evening you would struggle to find things to do to keep them entertained

Our apartment was nice but it was quite far away from the main areas - it took 10 mins or so (with a buggy and two kids) to walk down slowly to breakfast for example. In my head I had our apartment being right by the pool but it was a bit of a trek away. People have mentioned it before but you will get bitten if you don't havee mozzy spray on at dusk / night so make sure you do! The TV in the rooms only had Spanish + German channels which is fine really, you don't come on holiday to watch TV do you - plus after dinner we came back to the apartment and generally had an early night.

Very good place

Really nice place. Staff try their best. Overall quite nice. Nice breakfast buffet.

There is no way one could possibly find a clean plate at the breakfast buffet. Dishwasher might be broken or in need of maintenance. All plates just come out with dirt still on there. Some of the food at the breakfast buffet a bit too oily and fatty, but overall okay. Pastries/churros/pancakes at times a bit stale and no longer good. Understandable though that it's difficult to keep producing them fresh in smaller batches.

Nice hotel, needs a bit of investment but fair value for the price

Nice pool, always managed to get a sunbed. Calm atmosphere, close to the beach. Room was regularly cleaned and to a decent standard with a lovely view.

The buffet quality isn't the best. Eggs often undercooked, certain items wouldn't be replenished quickly enough. Evening meal is basically same every day, we found ourselves eating out often. I wouldn't go for half board if staying again. Poolside area is in a nice location, but needs a bit of investment. Quite a lot of old, uncomfortable sunbeds which need replacing

Good resort, nice facilities, great for families, poor buffet restaurant

Overall set up is great. On a nice beach, the central pool is perfect for families with kids and it's not too challenging to find a place (July). Water park is also good, I would say it's for kids 4-10, can keep them entertained. We've been told that for people booking on Booking.com the water park was not included, but in the end they gave us access for free. Also good service with the towels (for beach/pool): they offer them for free for the whole period for just a deposit: something less to add to the luggage. Kids club was nothing memorable, but the staff was nice and available. Location is ok if you want to stay in the resort or have a car... (Renovated) apartments are indeed well furnished. The emporium close by has everything you need for emergencies (including nappies and some baby food... Not formula).

The most painful part is the restaurant. Not totally their fault, but they clearly focus on quantity rather than quality, so breakfast (and dinner, if you have half board) is very messy. It seemed like some guests didn't eat for weeks before getting there... The hall was very noisy, it was sometimes difficult to get food or drinks or even cutlery or cups. It's free drinks but the glasses are very small so people are constantly queuing. No decent coffee in the morning (need to wait for the main bar to open at 11 and pay for it). The other debatable policy is on room cleaning. Understand it's difficult to keep so many units clean (the staff need to walk quite some distance, with trolleys, under the sun), but they basically just do a quick cleaning in the afternoon; if you're in the room they just skip it. And they rather not change the towels, but if you leave them on the floor or make clear you need a change they do it (if they make the room). There's a safety box, but need to pay for it. On location: good if you have a car. If you don't, there's not much to see/do outside of the resort. Overall it's a good resort for families with great facilities. You can have a great time there but would say it's more of a good 3* than a 4*, especially for the food. If you have a car you'd better save on the half board and dine at restaurants in some or the villages nearby (eg Fornells)

Nice beachside resort that could use a refresh

Located right next to a very nice, albeit small, beach. Capacity is well planned, it never gets very crowded anywhere. Very clean. Splash park and the pool are a nice alternative for kids in case of waves and wind. Friendly and very polite staff.

The room and facilities are a bit dated and musky, at least in our part of the resort. Food is not the best - it's certainly not horrible, but thus far I've only had better in other similar resorts, both in terms of variety and taste. While fine for our young kid, the fold-out sofa outside the bedroom would have been very uncomfortable for an adult or older child to sleep on.

Stay was very good, staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Buffets were very good.

Apartment was well decorated, clean and had good size. Amenities were very good and easy to navigate.

A few more items in the apartment to deal with laundry would have been nice. It would be useful for reception to have a body weight scale to help guest with their luggage ahead of the return flight.

The holidays me and family needed.

We booked with Half Board which suited our plans perfectly, to have breakfast, drive around Menorca, to the beautiful beaches and getting to know the island and return for dinner and rest. The food at the hotel was excellent quality and plenty to choose from. The staff were very good and attentive, really great. All in all, it was such a good everything.

There wasn’t anything I didn’t like. Through no fault of the hotel and their staff, I’d say the mosquitoes which apparently had a sweet tooth for me. Nothing wrong or to dislike.

Very nice stay with beautiful surroundings

Location is great, in front of the beach (Cala Tirant) and with direct access to the slide and splash park. Staff was kind and helpful. There were a few minor problems at the beginning but the hotel also checks for an intermediate review during the stay and they addressed the identified issues which were solved (this is very positive and not that common that hotels do this kind of assessment). Didn't need to use it but also found very useful and a good feature to have the kit for washing the dishes.

The parking that was indicated is quite far from some of the rooms/houses which makes it difficult in arrival and departure with the bags. We discovered later that there is a parking closer when one stays in the other extreme of the resort. A suggestion: laundry service could be made available for guests instead of just having a place for automatic laundry machines with coins. This is an important feature in a place that receive so many families with kids. We used the machines (the washer and the dryer)... and it takes quite a while and the dryer wasn't working properly. Also, with so many mosquitos in the surroundings (and there were a lot) it would be nice if there were mosquito nets in the windows (it's something quite easy to do and in the heat it would allow to open the windows at night/morning).

Good

Very close to the beach, nice pool and location. The beach was not crowded, easy to get a place on the beach without being too close to others. Easy to park the car nearby and a nice supermarket very close.

We need to wear a bracelet with no practical benefit. Typically the use of bracelets is to let staff know that you are entitled to breakfast and avoid other bureaucracy, but when we get to dinner or breakfast they always questioned us for the room number and check on their forms if we were entitled to it or not. The dinner includes all drinks, but not wine, the only alcoholic beverage included is beer. this is not very cleared when you request the half pension.

Very good value for money. Lovely area with some nice restaurants.

The kitchenette area was quite tired and worn although clean. There were no hooks anywhere so you could not hang towels or coats up. Also only one mirror in the whole apartment would have been good to have a mirror in the bedroom
